Ojibway Family Lodge
We encourage parents to visit us. Our family lodge, Ojibway, offers a warm, easy atmosphere for parents with children at Keewaydin. You will enjoy relaxing and catching up with your son or daughter, while learning of their summer experiences. Just because you are staying deep in the north woods of Canada, there is no reason to give up such comforts as daily cabin service, family-style meals, and cabins with private baths and propane lights. You will enjoy such activities as canoeing, fishing, swimming, tennis, birding, picnics, walking trails and evening campfires. If your preference is to simply relax, there is plenty of that as well. Families are welcome at all Keewaydin events including campfires, midseason and end of season activities.
Ojibway is located on the north end of Devil's Island, a short walk or paddle from Keewaydin. Transportation to the island is by boat or float plane. You won't find telephones or electricity; instead your arrival will be greeted by the peace and quiet of Canada's wide open pine forests and pristine waterways. Further information is provided upon request.
