General Information

Mail & Communication:
Mail should be sent to the camp's summer address. Please do not send food. Kids are in camp very seldom during the season, and food items tend to attract unwanted visitors to our facilities, while awaiting the campers return from canoe trips.

Keewaydin has no telephone, however communications can be made by calling the Temagami Lakes Association during normal business hours at (705) 237-8927. We are in contact with this service via radio on a daily basis, and can have them make a return call to you if necessary. During the season we will send updates on camp activities, and you will get a mid-season progress report from our staff.

Urgent communication can also be made through our winter offices in Vermont, which are staffed throughout the year.

Scholarship Fund
Scholarship assistance is available to a limited number of campers and families who would not otherwise be able to afford Keewaydin's tuition. Full information is available upon request.

Accreditation
Keewaydin is an Accredited Camp, under the Ontario Camping Association (OCA).

Admission Policy
Keewaydin accepts all children who meet the criteria for admission regardless of race, color, handicap, religion, or national origin.
